Located just over a 30-minute drive from Lake City RV Park is Ichetucknee Springs State Park.

The perfect location for tubing, crystal-clear springs, canoeing, or kayaking. There are also trails to hike, swimming holes, and plenty of wildlife roaming the 2,669-acre haven!

Home to Florida’s only Class III whitewater rapids, Big Shoals State Park offers a thrilling paddling experience for canoe and kayak enthusiasts, as well as trail hiking in the surrounding forest.

Only experienced canoe and kayakers should attempt to navigate the shoals. Paddling the shoals is not recommended.

The Santa Fe Canoe Outpost is now a FREE city park! The Canoe Outpost is available free of charge to launch your canoe, kayak, or just to enjoy the beautiful Santa Fe River.

Rentals are available from area vendors, such as Rum 138 and Anderson’s Outdoor Adventures.

One of Florida’s first state parks, O’Leno State Park, was developed in the 1930s.

The park is located along the banks of the beautiful Santa Fe River, a tributary of the Suwannee River. Enjoy hiking, swimming, and remarkable natural phenomena!

Just a short drive up I-75, Wild Adventures is a full day out for the whole family! It’s a theme park, waterpark, and animal park all in one, which means you’re not choosing between rides or wildlife; you get both.
